highlights: public money used in an attempt to silence mr monkey

'Did the council leader use the public's piggy bank to silence his critics?'

'Did the council leader use the public's piggy bank to silence his critics?'

Mr Monkey’s has been reminiscing about the past year and has decided to re-post some of the year’s highlights for bloggers to enjoy and what better place to start than here?

Mr Monkey can reveal – thanks to a tip off – that South Tyneside Council has spent thousands of pounds of public money on legal advice in an attempt to shut down Mr Monkey’s Blog.

Mr Monkey I sincerely hope that you can get evidence of this and hold him to account and see justice served

And – Mr Monkey – allegedly, Papa John has likewise spent much money on legal advice for the Gazette’s apparent censorship campaign against Iain’s detractors !

What a bright crew we have in the Borough.

This is the sort of thing which used to go on in Germany, between the first and second world wars.

    Heil Iain, der Führer!!!!

Somebody should forward the evidence ELECTRONICLY to the Head of Corporate Governance and also Internal Audit, even if they do nothing at least it is recorded as recieved and cannot be denied at a later date ?
Sadly I am not that tricky on a computer otherwise I would not hesitate to do it

    Mr Wodds
The people to whom you refer are very much aware of what is going on in OUR hi-jacked Borough. There would appear to be a certain amount of snouts in trough, or else “scratch my back” etc.

That is why Miss Piggy, a.k.a our great Council Leader, is doing as he is.

The best plan is to use your VOTE in 2008, and then, most importantly, in 2011, when Miss Piggy has to stand for re-election. The most powerful tool against them is communication – tell everyone whom YOU know!

It’s all so simple really, but for too many decades, we in South Tyneside have been apathetic, cos we thought that the Labour Party could not be ousted.

    Well, THEY CAN.

Is it a waste of money if a certain Councillor is allowed to contact senior NEXUS staff at home at nearly midnight to complain that the link up bus has gone past the boozer that he has been drinking in on the Scotch Estate, and demand that it turns round and comes back to pick him up WHICH IT DID !

How would a councillor be able to contact NEXUS senior management at this time of night ??

What must he have threatened to make this person order the bus to around leaving others stranded ??

Guess who the councillor was ?? Answers on a postcard please

It is no surprise that this council most certainly use public funds in order to silence – nay – wipe out their opponents, or in fact anyone they consider as a ‘threat’ to them. It’s a guaranteed FACT. The Spetznatz would have been in admiration of them.

So, what have these slimeballs to hide?

    Dear Mr Scunner Campbell

Lots and lots. BUT, it can all come to an end if the voting public of South Tyneside persuade themselves to get out to vote in 2010 and 2011,

2011 is Miss Piggy’s turn!!!!! TELL IT TO THE WHOLE BOROUGH.

AND – no more ballot rigging eh! Prison sentences have recently been handed out in the UK to CONVICTED ballot riggers, and had there been no rigging by Miss Piggy and his litter, this lot would by now be OUT.

So, let’s have some concerted action against this corrupt administration. GO VOTE NEXT TIME. And, CANCEL YOUR POSTAL VOTE!!!!!!!

regrets..labour was for the people now its for the council members, it saddens me to see that you can be sacked for supporting something which you belive to be right, i thought it was a democracy, its a sad day when a public laundry employing disabled is closed down, and a garden centre employing disabled is also closed, in the same month they declare they are investing in a new building costing millions, then as the turf is dug out they announce another 4.5 million pounds of saving cuts.. ironicly about the same amount of their share of the cost..what are they going to do when the north east development fund is cut another 6.5 million cuts..how about we go back to the old days when the only thing a councellor got WAS A BUS PASS and an interest in the people for the people. god i can’t wait to move out of the area..

You as an individual may get exposed by these scummers, but congratulations on getting global exposure for what they have been up to.

For years I have – through my own experience and that of my family being council employees – either witnessed or heard first-hand accounts of corruption and self-serving by councillors.

Well done for showing some of these toe-rags up for what they are.

The consequences of being exposed will hurt for a while, but in the long run you will come out the hero. Hang in there. There are many of us round the world reading about Twitter giving out your details at OUR BLOODY EXPENSE and we’re on your side.

The councillors involved now look far worse, and to a larger audience.

    Well done.
